Shield the apps and APIs you expose
App & API Protection is about defending internet-facing applications and APIs from attacks in real time — a WAF-style, edge-enforced control. CloudLens does not ship this today; it is on our roadmap. What we do today is show you exactly which apps and APIs are exposed and why.
This capability is not available in CloudLens yet. We would rather say so than show a screen that does not exist. Here is what we are building and what you can use today.
Where App & API Protection is headed
Block common attacks at the edge
Protect exposed apps and APIs against injection, abuse and known-bad traffic, enforced in line rather than only observed.
Protection that follows the inventory
Apply policy to the apps and APIs CloudLens already discovers, so coverage tracks what is actually running.
Tie an attack back to the risk
Connect edge events to the workload, its CVEs and its data, so a block has context, not just a rule id.
What CloudLens already covers
These ship now and cover much of the same ground.
